Roland de la Platière (spr. roláng dĕ la platĭähr), Jean Marie, franz. Staatsmann, geb. 18. Febr. 1734 zu Thizy, 1789 Generalinspektor der Manufakturen in Lyon, 1791 Mitglied der Konstituierenden Versammlung, 1792 Minister des Innern, Anhänger der Gironde, tötete sich bei deren Sturz 10. Nov. 1793. – Seine Gattin Manon Jeanne R. de la P., geb. 17. März 1754, nahm eifrigen Anteil an der Revolution, 8. Nov. 1793 hingerichtet. »Mémoires« (2 Bde., neue Ausg. 1864); »Lettres«, von Dauban (2 Bde., 1867) und Perroud (Bd. 1, 1901). – Vgl. Dauban (1864), Blind (1886).
